November 24th 2010, Instrument Rating
Mr. Myoungje Kang has passed the instrument rating checkride in N212AN with Jim Currier. By the time he came back from the flight, it was almost dark. He received the "water ceremony" at freezing night but it was OK because he was hot!
November 22th 2010, Instrument Rating
Mr. Joon Ho Lee has successfully added the instrument rating to his private pilot certificate in the Cessna 172, N737TX with Jim Currier. He had finished his oral part on the Friday last week but , due to the weather, the flight portion took place in this morning just before noon. It was raining but that was good IFR flight environment. Good Job!
November 22th 2010, Passing CFI Checkride
Mr. Simon Brugger Passed his initial flight instructor certificate with Jim Stenhouse, the FAA inspector. He had finished his oral part on the Friday last week but , due to the weather, the flight portion took place in this morning. Though there were some clouds, he could perform all the task as he avoided the clouds. Good job and congratulation!
November 18th 2010, First Solo Flight!
Mr. Kwangwuk Kim made his first solo flight in a Cessna 152 N67596. He enjoyed the flight without instructor.
November 16th 2010, Commercial pilot Checkride!
Mr. Michiaki Kimura has passed his commercial pilot checkride in a Piper Arrow, N2496M with Jim Currier. He came back from checkride in the darkness since daylight saving time has ended. He received the " Water Celemoney"after the checkride. He is one of the youngest students in our school with full of dream.
November 11th 2010, Roy goes to Air Force!
Mr. Roy Bitton who is one of the busiest instructor at Nice Air has passed the selection and is going to US Air Force! We had a party to cerebrate his achievement. He is going to leave on Thanks giving day. His has been flying with variety of the people and help these students a lot. Thank you Roy for everything you did. Have fun at Air Force.
November 5th 2910, Double header
Mr. Katsufumi Ishida(left) has passed his private pilot practical test in a Cessna 152, N67596 with Jim Currier. His street performance gets hotter and hotter. Come to see him jaggling the things but not an airplane.
November 5th 2010, Instrument Rating
Mr. Lee Seungkwon has successfully added the instrument rating on his private pilot certificate in N9568G with Jim Currrire. This is one of the hardest things to do in the world. Look at his smiley face of achievement.
November 1st 2010, Instrument Instructor!
Mr. Kengo Kato has successfully added instrument rating on his flight instructor certificate in a Cessna 172, N9568g with Sherry Diamond. He is currently working as a mechanic as well. He flies, he teaches and he repairers.
