August 31st 2010, Kohei in the sky with Diamond
It was the last day of August. Mr. Kohei Kotani successfully added the Instrument Instructor rating on his Flight Instructor Certificate with Sherry Diamond in N9568G. It was too nice day for Instrument Instructor checkride. Ken Donovan is the recommending instructor.
August 31st 2010, First solo!
Mr. Saeki Shigeki has made the first solo flight before the summer ends. Hab the instructor, endorsed him the day before but wind was too strong for solo. It was nice and calm this morning when he made it.
August 30th 2010, Private pilot
Just before the summer vacation ends, Mr. Takuya Tamura has passed his private pilot checkride with Jim Currier in N67889. He is a student at medical college in Japan. He will be back in Japan and continue study to be a (flying?) doctor.
August 24th 2010, Private Pilot!
Mr. MyoungJe Kang has passed his private pilot practical test in N49434 with Jim Currier.It was 100 degrees F outside, hot summer day at the end of summer vacation. Airplane performance is low but pilot performance is still GOOD!
August 16th 2010, Commercial Pilot
Mr. Moe Gholampour has passed his commercial pilot practical test in N2496M with Jim Currier. 
August 13th 2010, Multi, multi-engine pilot
Multiple pilots got multi engine rating today. Mr. Yu Akao And Mr. Yuki Tsudome have successfully added the multi engine rating on their commercial pilot certificates. They were trained by Roy together and finished on same day, the Friday 13th.
August 11th 2010, private Pilot
Mr. Daisuke Araki has passed the private pilot practical test in N25914 with Jim Carrier. He went back japan for a week just before his checkride. Now he got all the skill back and finished final test!
August 10th 2010, Private Pilot
Mr. Shodai Naito has finished his private pilot certification in N67596 with Jim Currier. They came back just before the sunset. Shodai flew with Habu first and then Nigel took over. Shodai is the first sign off of Nigel. Shodai will enjoy more in the sky.
August 2nd 2010, Private Pilot
This is the first checkride in August. Mr. Kiyoshi Suzuki has passed the private pilot checkride in N25914 with Jim. He began the flight training a couple of years ago as a part time student. Finally, his dream came true. Congratulation!
