The price estimates are based upon our flight schools average completion times and not the minimum times per the FAA. These prices are realistic and we complete most students within the estimates below.
Schweizer 300CB - Trainer Cross-country
Time Building for an Instrument Rating or Commercial Pilot Certificate,
a minimum of 50 hours of cross-country time must be obtained prior to
the instrument check ride. You may include cross country time gained
while obtaining your Private Pilot License. Cross-country is defined,
as landing at any airport that is greater than but not equal to 50 nautical
miles. You may also be allowed to obtain this time in a fixed winged
aircraft or a combination of helicopter and fixed wing aircraft.

The
Commercial Pilot Certificate requires a total time of 150 hour total
flight time. (fixed wing or helicopter), which must include 100 hours
in a powered aircraft, of which 50 hours must be in a helicopter. Also,
you must have 100 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time of which 35 hours
must be in a helicopter and 10 hours of that must be cross-country flight.

no fixed wing time included
